Daniel L. Prosser
Daniel L. Prosser, Financial Advisor with Prosser Financial Group has 35 years in the financial services industry. He founded Prosser Financial Group in 2005. A former high school teacher, Dan is passionate about educating clients on their best financial strategies. He earned a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Education degree from the University of Missouri. Dan first learned the importance of hard work and sound judgment while growing up on a farm in southwestern Missouri. He believes in a common sense approach to solving problems because nowadays “common sense is not all that common.”
A certified financial planner™ professional since 1999, Dan has extensive experience working with clients on their individual planning needs. His quality service earned him the honor of being named a Five Star Wealth Manager1 by St. Louis Magazine three years in a row in addition to being featured by Forbes magazine as “One of the Leading Wealth Managers of the Central United States.” Dan also holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.
Dan and his wife of more than 40 years, Nikki, have two sons, Zach and Christian, and are active members of the Incarnate Word Parish where Dan is involved with the Knights of Columbus. Dan is also involved with the St. Louis Planned Giving Council, the Missouri University Alumni Association, and the Financial Planning Association®. In his free time, Dan enjoys sailing, skeet shooting and horseback riding.
In addition, Dan is the St. Louis consultant for the Donor Motivation Program – a national organization assisting nonprofits with limited budgets in the development of successful planned giving strategies. Dan and his wife, Nikki, have experienced the tremendous impact that nonprofits have on families. In 1999, their son, Zach, spent months in hospitals following a serious injury. Zach is a quadriplegic and lives independently in Florida today because of what he learned through a number of powerful nonprofit organizations.

Brenda L. Johnston
Marketing and Event Coordinator
Brenda L. Johnston, Marketing and Event Coordinator, joined Dan in 1999 and has spent over a decade leading the company’s various marketing initiatives and supporting Dan’s growing clientele. She strives to consistently deliver on the firm’s mission of providing first-class service to their clients.
Brenda also coordinates the firm’s work with The Donor Motivation Program, reaching out to charities to assist in creating new opportunities through planned giving. Prosser Financial Group’s involvement with the program highlights their dedication to community service and giving back.
Brenda has cultivated her passion for people and relationships to her church and community by planning special services and events to share the love of Christ with others. She coordinates Vacation Bible School outreach and is an active member of the Joy Makers organization that reaches out to the elderly and handicapped in her community. She is also a member of the St. Louis Planned Giving Council. Brenda and her husband Phillip, reside in Hillsboro, Missouri and have two sons, Jordan and Zach.
Sherri L. Rarick
Sherri L. Rarick, Office Manager with Prosser Financial Group, has worked in the financial services industry for more than 17 years. She started with the firm in 2014 and specializes in client experience. A Northeast Missouri State (Truman State) University graduate with a degree in Business Administration , Sherri focuses on helping the firm remain competitive in the industry through technology in addition to ensuring quality customer service. She draws on years of experience as a program operations manager, administrative assistant, and investment representative to guide the firm in client relations.
An active volunteer, Sherri enjoys giving back to her community. She is the coach of two area volleyball teams; is the current volleyball lay director of Our Lady Athletic Association; and is a committed member of Our Lady Parish in Festus. Sherri’s focus around her church and her children’s school stems from her passion to contribute to organizations that impact her family.
